1. Overview

CrateSkate wants customers to understand return and refund terms before placing an order. This policy applies to products purchased directly from Crateskate.com.

Customers should review product details, size, quantity, price, availability, shipping information, and this Return and Refund Policy before completing checkout.

2. Return Window

Customers may request a return within 30 days after the order is delivered. Return requests made after 30 days may not be accepted unless required by applicable law.

The returned item must be received by CrateSkate in acceptable condition before a refund, exchange, or store credit is approved.

3. Items Eligible for Return

To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the conditions below:

  • The return request is made within 30 days after delivery.
  • The item is unused, uninstalled, unassembled, and not skated.
  • The item is in its original packaging where applicable.
  • The item includes all original parts, accessories, labels, tags, manuals, and packaging materials where applicable.
  • The customer can provide an order number, receipt, or proof of purchase from Crateskate.com.

Eligible return reasons may include buyer’s remorse, ordering the wrong item, size or style preference, duplicate order, or product no longer needed, as long as the item meets the return condition requirements.

4. Items That Cannot Be Returned

For safety, product integrity, and resale condition reasons, some items may not be accepted for return.

  • Used, skated, scratched, damaged, installed, or assembled skateboard products.
  • Decks that have been gripped, mounted, drilled, cracked, or used.
  • Wheels, trucks, bearings, or hardware that have been installed or used.
  • Grip tape that has been applied, cut, removed from backing, or altered.
  • Protective gear that has been worn, damaged, or altered.
  • Apparel that has been worn, washed, damaged, stained, or missing tags.
  • Final sale, clearance, custom, personalized, or special-order items if clearly marked as non-returnable on the product page.
  • Items returned without authorization or without proof of purchase.

5. How to Start a Return

Customers must contact CrateSkate before sending any return. Unauthorized returns may be delayed, refused, or returned to the sender.

Provide your order number, name, email, item name, and return reason.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs depend on the reason for the return.

Original shipping charges may be non-refundable unless the return is due to an error by CrateSkate, a defective item, or a damaged item confirmed by our support team.

7. Refunds

Once a returned item is received, CrateSkate will inspect the item and review whether it meets the return conditions. Customers will be notified if the refund is approved or rejected.

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
  • Refunds are usually processed within 5–10 business days after return inspection and approval.
  • Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund.
  • Shipping fees, handling fees, gift wrapping, or other service fees may be non-refundable unless required by law or caused by our error.
  • Items returned used, damaged, incomplete, or outside the return requirements may be refused or partially refunded at CrateSkate’s discretion.

8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or different from what you ordered, contact CrateSkate as soon as possible after delivery.

Please provide the following information:

  • Full name and contact email.
  • Clear photos of the product, packaging, shipping label, and damage or issue.
  • A short explanation of the problem.

After review, CrateSkate may offer a replacement, exchange, refund, missing part solution, or return instructions depending on the situation and available stock.

9. Exchanges

Exchanges may be available for eligible unused items, depending on product availability. If the requested replacement item is unavailable, CrateSkate may offer a refund or store credit after the original item is returned and approved.

10. Order Cancellations

Customers may request order cancellation by contacting CrateSkate as soon as possible after placing an order. Cancellation is not guaranteed once the order has been processed, packed, shipped, or handed to a carrier.

If the order has already shipped, the customer may need to follow the return process after delivery.

11. Refused Delivery or Incorrect Address

Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping information at checkout. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, failed delivery attempt, or unclaimed package, refund eligibility may be reduced by shipping, return shipping, carrier, or handling costs where applicable.

12. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
